I'm thinking about starting a Vancouver chapter! Gimme your money! :cheeky: :cheeky: :cheeky:
I wonder if people really are signing up for it, though?

Interestingly enough, the bible says nothing about a doomsday in May (of this year or any other) - Funnily tho, the bible does warn those who presume to know what God is thinking on this matter. I wonder if maybe he did not read that part of the bible??
There are fanatics everywhere, and for everything, this man simply has more people who listen to what he claims than most of the fanatics out there.
Hi Catibrie,
That is what I ment by my comment that he did not read the bible very carefully.
Nice explaination.

It's gonna be on Saturday... ah, the Sail Past at the RCYC! It's only a day event, but I'll be living on the boat from Thursday morning on, anyway, until the darn pests are destroyed (sister brought bed bugs into the house) - might as well live it up at 6 PM!
Wait, does he correct for daylight savings time, and is it 6PM his time, or our time, or what?
Darn these prophecies always being MST!
1999-MAY-21/22: Evangelist Marilyn Agee predicted that the rapture will happen on this day, Pentecost. Earlier, she had predicted that it would happen on the Pentecost of 1998. The rapture, she believed, would trigger the various events listed in the book of Revelation, including the war of Armageddon.
1999-MAY-23: M.J. Agee writes in the Bible Prophecy Corner that because Noah had a 7 day warning that the flood was going to begin, perhaps we today will receive a 7 months warning of the rapture. He notes that the Wye Memorandum peace agreement was signed on 1998-OCT-23 by representatives of Israel and Palestine. This is 7 months prior to Pentecost on 1999-MAY-23 as celebrated by the Orthodox churches.
1999-MAY: Bryan Elder, an Arkansas hydraulics specialist, was quoted in Time magazine (1999-JAN-18) as predicting that an alignment of the planets will burn up the earth during this month.

Wait!!! Maybe its not 6pm in our timezones! Maybe its Australian time.... or Aztec Time.... maybe the Bible is referencing a timezone which was current during the time that the Bible was being written!

Maybe the rapture starts at 6pm local time no matter where you are. So, people in Australia who aren't sucked up by the rapture, for example, would have a zombie invasion before those of us in North America.

Harold Camping
Reverend Fred Phelps
Reverend Henry Kane from Poltergeist II: The Other Side
All three of these guys look alike. I wonder what else they have in common???
