Snow Thread

Okay we have received about 465 snow flakes in Ottawa today, just enought to have a very timid white blanket desperately trying to cover the ground.

Theres some snow here but its to be replaced by rain!

We had full grass coverage this morning. Looked very wintery.

Now though is is sunny and the grass is green again.

We had snow at about 3 AM this morning, it lasted until about noon today. It's now a wet snow out, and cold, and windy...

Just got enough snow to cover the ground, not fully but at least its staying on the ground!


But yesterday it was the record high temperature in December for Newfoundland. 15 degrees.

Weather doesn't make sense.
15 degrees one day, snow the next. Pretty normal..not

It snowed very lightly today. Nothing at all stuck, it was just a few flakes. But it was very depressing.

We have scary white stuff! I'm a little nervous about my drive to work as its my first time driving in the winter!
And apparently people here just ignore the fact it's winter and drive like idiots... because "they grew up in Bruce County"

We had 5cm of snow drop yesterday and a bunch of cars hit the ditches. :roll:
Come on Sudburians, you live in Northern Ontario, drive like it.

christmas doesn't suit here at all... :lol2:

anytime you see any christmas decorations or christmas lights
it makes you feel about a thousand degrees hotter.
seeing santa in his santa suit.
and all this RED!

and having a hot christmas dinner or lunch thingy... NO WAY..

and the gagillion flies that will just attach themselves to you if you dare to venture outside! omg flies , how i hate you. :rant:

We had snow all night. There is about 4" on the ground now. It looks beautiful, although I was enjoying not having to wear boots yet.
