I recently made these knitted rats

I do knit other stuff like the obvious hat & scarf and I made quite a few doggie sweaters, gloves etc..

I love those. If you don't already have an Etsy account, you should consider it; I'd order one in a heartbeat. Those are too cute.

Back in the day, I used to draw and sketch. I've not really gotten back into it, can't seem to find the time.

I used to be heavily into drawing, writing and music, but quit during the misery years of high school and never picked it up again. That's something I've always regretted. Sigh.

Ohh! I'm a die-hard crafter, and I always have been. Since I was a kid I would keep little baubles and things with the claim, "I can make a craft with this!" Sometimes it was true, other times it was because it was shiny and pretty (oooooooh).
These days I'm kind of a jack-of-all-trades.

I knit like a crazy beast all the time, but I rarely take shots of it (besides, it's all straight lines like scarves and blankets. nothing fancy really). I do have one of Ellie in a half-finished blanket-thing I'm still working on though:

Small plush crafts are another of my favourites. They're kind of what got me really into the crafty swing. These are a few of them (though not all):

The red thing and white kitty were gifts. The rest I made.

Glass is very fun because you can go in so many directions with it. Take an intro class sometime and see if you like it!

Love the planetary system! Very cool stuff!

My favorite crafty medium is stained glass windows, but I haven't done it in a while since I don't have a decent workshop area (glass bits + living area = BAD). Here's my favorite one (its ~ 2x3 feet):

I spent five years in an art school with heavy amounts of time in various types of art classes such as Life Drawing, Illustration, Graphic design, Sculpture, Print making, Drawing & Painting.... Plus many more, I'm sure, I just cant recall them all right now, LOL.

^ This was a painting I did a couple years ago. We were supposed to make a large painting of an animal in acrylic...

^These are supposed to be those sea shells that look like angel wings? It's pottery, but it was kilned in a style called Raku? I think I spell it wrong, but its really neat.

Ratamataz, I really like your choice of glass, especially that leafy frond. Coolio! And just because you've put down your creative instruments in the past doesn't mean you can't pick them up and start again. If you don't have room for glass, perhaps drawing? (Fewer bandaids required! LOL)

Ok, I tried! It's nothing pretty, but Ive never drawn an animal before and its not as easy as it seems! I had to keep poor Sammy in the tunnel in the picture, and I had to hide his foot. I cannot draw rat feet. But, I'm a good sport so I will post my first attempt drawing pretty much anything...

And while Im here... some cloth diapering stuff I've made...

Oh, that stained glass wasn't mine! I was quoting rhapsody's photo and commenting on it.

I have tried to pick up writing and drawing again, instruments too, sporadically over the years, but it just feels like a farce somehow. As if I'm imitating myself somehow. I end up trying too hard and then there's too much pressure and all the fun is taken out of it because I just end up feeling bitter. And it just feels like I'm re-hashing my old stuff. Bleh. Aren't I a bed of sunshine! :lol: :sun:

ETA: Here we go, I'll share a little something, although it is not that good. This is just a quick pencil sketch that I drew on the back of a notepad several months ago, of my favorite hen, George.

LUV the froggy and football material! I used to collect all things froggy!
Photography is something I'm interested in as well... specifically macro pics. Love taking those on our digital camera. Such an interesting way to see things.

Wow all u guys are soo talented, I wish I was half that talented.

When I was younger I drew a scene from "The Lion King" but my little brother destroyed it.
I wrote fictional stories.. without ending's lol (never could finish them for some reason), lost them..

I'm turning out to be a great creative tease aren't I *LoL*

Now I only scrapbook on my free time (wich is rare *LoL*), hoping to take up other crafty hobbies!
