    what an accident pron week

I've had weeks like that before. My best advice is to step up the drinking. It'll relax you for your next impact with something :laugh4: It also acts as a pain reliever!

Best Of Craiglist - Adult Content

The guy with the fat cheating wife sounds like my little brother. I don't recall him liking vodka, however. He lived in Omaha too...and left his new ex-wife there.

    Rats at play. lotsopics

Wow! That's some setup. I had wondered when we would see the ladies and gents of the rat shack. "Shack" is not the word. I think "palace" was the term you were looking for :stickpoke: Great pics, Jo! Thanks!

    New Behaviour - biting.

Her biting sounds like she's stressed from the change in her life, or unhappy about losing what was her territory. Don't go after her in a situation where she's cornered like that. During out-time give her extra affection. She needs other rats, but she needs to feel like she's special to you as...

What I love about the rat community.

It like this....Buying dogs to brag about what they cost........it saddens me. My love for animals is without bounds  ......not so much so with some of thier caretakers. :flushed: :threadjacked:

What I love about the rat community.

Nobody was lumping you in....it said half the time. Plus the backstory you just told about your doggie is the kind I like. I just don't see the point in spending a thousand dollars just for a purebred when some sweet doggie at the shelter will love you just as much if not more. Yours is a story...

    Rat vocalization

Lester squeaks when I pick him up. Of course, with his being a rescue with a shady past this is better than the screaming he used to do, and far better than the biting to-the-bone that preceeded that. We had one girl, Mini, who was quite squabbly when she was young. Sort of a "terrible twos"...

Just general worry for a rescue kid

Rats also have an instinct about not eating unfamiliar food, and about not eating in an unfamiliar place. He is in both situations now. Some normal interaction and he should become comfortable where he is. Or he may just be sick.
