Rat vocalization

ive never in my life had such a vocal rat! Freyr talks back so much " no mom! i dont wanna!!" " no mom i dont want you to pet me! " " NO MOM!! MEDS D:! " " mom.. don`t pick me up like that!!" and ofcourse " mom!! stop cutting my toenails!!" squeak for this, sqeak for that!! anyone else had one that talks back?

Lester squeaks when I pick him up. Of course, with his being a rescue with a shady past this is better than the screaming he used to do, and far better than the biting to-the-bone that preceeded that.

We had one girl, Mini, who was quite squabbly when she was young. Sort of a "terrible twos" kind of "no- I'm gonna do it this way"

I had a vocal boy, he would squeak if i took food from him!
hahah it was so cute, almost like he was saying NO! GIVE DAT BACK! MEINE!
hahah he was a squeaker, he would squeak if tried to pick him up, but he was happy being held. he would squeak if i changed the water bottle and he diddnt like it. hahah little Percy was a funny boy!
