I'd LOVE to go. But I can't. I don't have a passport and I've heard they cost A LOT to get, not to mention the complete lack of ride...

I wish I could go, but unfortunately Rat Shack Fest falls on my towns annual Festival of Flight. And quite frankly I can't miss that

I *think* I'll be bringing Avatar and smilez_n_hugs and POSSIBLY FH as well, and I think I'll also be bringing Shelagh. So I likely won't have any extra room.

I would definatly go but I dont have a ride unfortionatly, live in Pembroke and theres no one close going I dont think sad but maybe I can find a ride there next year.

I would love to go to this, even next year. But sadly, and some may find this silly, but I refuse to enter Ontario if my dog isnt allowed You guys have extra fun for me though! Maybe next year me and my dog can join yous *fingers crossed*

Civic Weekend is usually when we pack up the whole fam. and bounce off to *somewhere*. I think were looking at Winsdor this year, but we don't plan very well instead we just go!

I had picked civic holiday weekend in hopes that more people would be able to get time off work and stuff like that (and so I could have a day off after to recuperate LOL) and in hindsight I guess that was a dumb idea. EVERYONE has SOMETHING to do on Civic Holiday weekend!!! Dumb Mooners *facepalm* :wallbang:

Moon, I don't think it was dumb at all. We had lots of warning, to allow people to plan ahead. For some people, having it on a long weekend is the only way that they would be able to make it.

It is impossible to choose a time that would work for everyone. For most of us it is the distance, not the timing, that is the big barrier.

I sure hope that I can make it next year.

Well for me, civic holiday was perfect. It works for some but not for others. Can't please them all.

Wayne is VERY happy about Civic Holiday, he normally has Tues and Wed off. So with Sunday off for the fest and Monday off because of the holiday, well that's 4 days in a row which = a very happy Wayne

Do we have a list somewhere of people who think they are going to be able to make it?
