People on this forum are so amazing :joy:

Sweet looking girls. I always hate when you take in a new one and they act so starved it just breaks my heart. Good job on saving these babies and making it happen.

Glad you where able to save them....what a horrible place. Broke my heart when I read all the babies went with the snake...horrible, horrible people.

A few pictures of the three boys. Pictures were taken last night when the ratties were removed from the carrier at their foster home.
Alyssa (aka Genny&Fran) voluntered to foster them!

Update from Alyssa (aka Genny&Fran) who is fostering the ratties
I am fostering the 9 rats from Nackawic that are heading to Maine (to Mainely Rat Rescue).
Happy to inform the 3 boys have taken a liking to the wheel.
I see they like having the room to play and exercise.

The boys and girls have been eating a lot, laying in hammocks, and like to take blueberries and peas from my hands.
This is a BIG step in only 1 day because hands resemble snakes when they are terrified.

I have handled each one seperately. They are a bit skiddish as to be expected.
I hope by the end of the week each one of them will curl up on my lap without a worry.

:) They are a sweet bunch.

Woohoo! You rock SQ! Thank you so much for organizing and rescuing these little ratties. They owe their lives to you. And thanks Alyssa for fostering the babies before they head south of the border. You guys are awesome!

Such a relief to hear of a happy ending to such a sad story. My heart goes out to all these little animals. Thank God for good people like you in the world, to help them.

The girls ... more pictures from their arrival on Feb 25
