They scared the ***** out of me when Edward tried to mate with her when she was in heat tho..
Stefan accepts everything from her..
They steal food from eachother all the time :lol:

HAve FINALLY gotten the money to order the new cage! :dance:
Hope everything goes as planned..
Never ordered anything that big from another country(or anywhere really)..
 
Been a while now..
Been busy with my ratties and my new room..

Nirvana is an insane climber..
And Edward is making great progress!
I am FINALLY able to pet him and give him treats on free roaming time!
I haven´t had to catch him with the bird net so far in the new room..
He don´t like me catching him, so when it´s his turn to get into the cage.. He gets in on his own.. Which is fine by me :)
He used to be completely terrified by anything that wasn´t a rat..
Now look at him :thud:

I will never understand how Nirvana gets up there..

Stefan is also doing very good.
He absolutely loves Nirvana, and has become a bit more active since I got this room.

Hopefully, I´ll get the new cage within the end of the week :dance:
I hope its better than this one :wallbang:
 
I FINALLY got my new cage today!!
Been waiting for it about 3 weeks.. Most of the time have been someone stuffing things up..
It was HELL to put together(reading guidelines? what´s that???)

He got an abcess..
Been to the vet and gotten antibiotics and got it drained..
He don´t want to eat much..

Yeah it´s a great cage!
My rats are great!
But it´s been many months of hard work with specially Edward.. I guess he´ll always be a bit scared/timid..

It is definetly worth it!
But I don´t have the experience..
He´s my third rat, and my first two were completely tame when I got them..
Definetly getting from breeders after this(I have a female, Nirvana from a responsible breeder..)
