I made a video of my rat!

What a cutie! Get him neutered sharpish (cuts down on the whiff!) and get him a girlfriend. Happy, socialised rats are the cuddliest things ever, and having a friend even boosts their brainpower, thus enhancing their trick-learning abilities.

Have you ever heard of the HeroRats? Google them, because they're awesome. One of the best parts about rats is that once they love a human, they'll love any other human who treats them the same way you do. They're very good at winning over parents!

Then Google rat basketball. Once you've got two, you can start their training!

He's a cutie but that lady is sadly mistaken. Rats get attached to you no matter how many there are and they can all learn tricks, it all depends on their personality. I really hope you get Frank a friend and cross that lady off your list cause she clearly knows NOTHING about rats.

today I spent hours after hours with frank. He comes to the door when called and jumps right onto my shoulder. :dance: Also I worked on teaching him to jump from one platform to another.
It took me a long time to find his favorite treat food. I tried strawberries, bananas, apples, and even bits of cat food. I was starting to give up...and then I found it! He loves peas. He'd do anything for a pea. haha :lol:

well my parents are quickly warming up to him! :laugh4: they had always said that if they ever had a rat in there house then the world had come to a end. and now my mom says his face is adorable. :nod:

That's cool! My parents were pretty apprehensive too, now they sleep in my mom's shirt

Today frank accomplished jumping from one platform to another, through a hoop . He jumped 10 and 1/2 inches!

thats two and 1/2 more inches than yesterday. He fell twice but landed on my soft pillow.
I used blueberries as a treat today.

Wow I went to watch Frank jumping...that is truly amazing! Wish I could get my rat boxe's to jump like that!

Thanks! in the video I had only had frank a few days, he can jump farther now and do other cute tricks! I'll have to make a updated video.
