Fastest hamster ever to live. I think a robo dwarf hamster... Owners couldnt keep him because he was to fast, the other fat guy we took in because he nipped you. No pictures of him, fattest dwarf hamster but he is losing weight now

my boy Atlas from Ohio is a very fragile boy. So I took him out of the big group of older boys and put him and Tiny tim with the baby boys. They are both much happier. we had daddy dearest neutered but I think I need to find a few more to neuter from there. But with these two out the cage is quiet again.

My boy martin has a lump. Watching it, It is above his eye, his eye isnt affected at all but I think it is an abscess.

Please support a rescue. You may not like filling out applications but trust me the 10 minutes it takes is so worth it. So many rats in rescue need homes and so many wont be saved because there is a limit they cannot take anymore in. Dont support a pet store that profits off a life. Support a rescue that uses those funds to save others.

We have had the girls for 2 weeks today. this one looks pretty ready to pop. I am pretty sure we will have babies in the next few days.

we have a home set up for 4 more babies that will be spayed. I am calling to set it up this week!

I have a few apps in but lets home they get more homes!

I knew momma would be having her babies today. She was nesting this morning. I pulled it apart at 3am to check for babies and she put it right back together.

Melodie gave us 11 new babies

This one is a bit bruised from delivery. Momma is a very good momma though I am pretty sure most of these 60 + rats have been born to 3 different girls. 3 of them were older. Melodie is one of them. The other older girl we have did go in heat. the other older girl is in another home.

we have 4 girls going to homes next weekend they will be spayed this week. Tiny tim is being taken in friday something is wrong with his willy and testicle. I am a bit freaking out about it.

His right testicle feels funny, he had a abscess there but now I am not sure what in the hell happened. but his penis feels funny. I am having a major panic attack over this right now.

Glad for a healthy delivery from Melodie. Positive vibes sent for Timmy. Especially when it'so something we haven't seen before its terrifying.
I was a very bruised baby, usually means a bigger healthy chunk baby

He is at the vets office tonight for a neuter tomorrow. His right testicle felt a little better today, his willy is still sticking out and he has an abscess forming next to his penis. He is a mess. but I never seen an actual injury on him, so I am not sure what is the deal. Daddy dearest is a jerk but he hasnt caused injuries just tormented them he was neutered last time around.

These 4 girls are in for spays tomorrow, they will go home next sunday to a great home

The markings are starting to show.

she has some fat babies, she is good at being a momma.

I am hoping for some dumbos. Just because we never had dumbo babies here and well sadly people want dumbos

Oh my look at those chubbers. So cute. Sad that two rats can have the same colour/marking and be similar in temperament but a dumbo will get chosen first. I realized today that my once dumbo filled house only has one dumbo resident now. After Boots all I see is his face in dumbos.

Timmy has a mess happening. His right testicle was full of puss. My vet doesnt do surgeries on anything infected but we had no choice with timmy today. He cleaned up his abscess and removed his right testicle that was full of puss, he would of removed the left one but he couldnt find it. He didnt want to dig around to much with all the infection that he had so we will schedule another surgery in two weeks to recover the second testicle. I am worried for him. Waiting the next two weeks will be murder. Hopefully it goes ok I am scared the second one is in there infected and afraid it will fester in there and kill him. This has been along day.

Poor little Timmy, he really has had a challenging life so far. Is he on antibiotics? Was he on them before and got the infection in spite of them? I am really pulling for this little guy.

The babies are sweet! Do you have to worry about megacolon with the boy with the blaze? Does that make him a high white?
I like the one with the big patch on their bum.

I think with any white spot on their head they are considered high whites but they are not always carriers of megacolon. we will watch and see we have lost babies that were not high white to megacolon so we know what to look for.


Timmy is a trooper, I hope this works out. I love this boy. He has been on abs for a few days but with abscesses it only works on if it leaks out or causing a bigger infection abs do nothing for an abcess so regardless they can form. We are tryng to stop a bigger infection at this point.

it was so humid even with the air on, they were sticking to each other and the food crumbs were sticking to them as well..
