:sad3: I don't wike horror movies. They scawer, me. :hide:

I like comedies! Any Will Ferrell fans out there? Or Mike Myers? Adam Sandler, anyone?

I saw Valkyrie on Friday and it was a great movie. My only problem was Hitler. In the movie, he looked like hunchbacked man unable to walk straight and he looked like a perfect dummy. I was disappointed of seing such a Hitler. I had to check on youtube finding videos showing Hitler and none of them showed such a picture of him. I don't think that World's Number One Tyran would show himself like a perfect idiot in public. In the videos I saw on youtube, Hitler looks like a proud and powerful man, not a grumpy old man full of arthritis. I just had a hard time accepting that the death of so many people were caused by a man about to brake into pieces and ready to die at any minute.

I saw 'Taken' with Liam Neeson last night and it was one of the most enjoyable movies I've ever seen. I kept forgetting to blink and my contacts were drying up haha, no joke.

Sadly, I rarely have the time for movies but these came to my mind immediately:

Casino Royale (Daniel Craig is THE best James Bond after Sean Connery)
The X-Files: I Want to Believe (it was so wonderful to see Scully & Mulder back)
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (bit too long for the storyline)
Doubt (fantastic acting)
Lars and the Real Girl (makes one think about mental illness)

Jack, I know what you mean. I hate it when they falsely portray an infamous man giving them bad traits to prove that he was a bad man. It doesn't make sense...

I want to see Taken!!

What's your favorite Will Ferrell movie, Lynds? ROFL - I'm killin' myself laughing just thinking of some of the lines from The Anchorman!

I could go on ALL day. I am The Movie Quoting Master. :p

"Help me Jesus! Help me Jewish God! Help me Allah! AAAAAHHH! Help me Tom Cruise! Tom Cruise, use your witchcraft on me to get the fire off me!" --- That kills me every time. Tom Cruise... Heh.

I saw Valkyrie as well and I was a little taken aback by Hitler's physical portrayal. However, the events of this movie occur very late in the war - less than a year, I believe, before Hitler commits suicide - so it is possible that due to the stress of a world war going against him and other factors, Hitler may not have been the "prime physical specimen" he was earlier on. As well, the archival footage of Hitler was largely propaganda and its purpose would've been to show Hitler in the best light possible and to cover up any problems. So, the old videos are probably misleading too. For those reasons, I wouldn't be surprised to learn that Hitler really was as feeble at that time as he was shown to be in the movie.

I have to admit, I like horror movies. :D

I love comedies too, but I think that Will Ferrell, Mike Myers (with the exception of the original Shrek and some of the first sequel, and bits and pieces of the Austin Powers movies) and Adam Sandler make some of the absolute worst movies in the history of worst movies.

Zack and Miri Make a Porno came out today, and I bought it. And I'm watching it.

Except on the packaging, it's just called "Zack and Miri". On the DVDs, it says "Zack and Miri". On the opening credits.... "Zack and Miri Make a Porno".

Hmm.
