Been a while since anyone's posted but ohmygosh amazing cages!!! Soo jealous!! Can't wait to have the money and space for a big CN or FN!

Squeaky Clean again! My cages are starting to look a bit redundant. I really want some new color schemes & liners, but can't justify buying more fleece until my current monster of a stash is chewed up more.

Thanks! I think its really more for me than for them. See that white/red tunnel at the very tip top... that's where they spend 99% of their time. :emb: You can lead a rat to lots & lots of pretty toys, but you can't make him play... :roll:

Oh yeah, sorry I was talking about your cage. Thats the picture(the pinkish purplish thing in the very top right corner, above the green basket with holes). Hahaha when I first saw it I thought it was a popup tent, and I was all like "I want one of those!" Now I can see its some sort of tubberware or container or something turned upsidedown.

Ah.. that one. Yes, its just a plastic shoe storage container without the lid, with an entrance hole cut in it & flipped upside down. I have cut lots of fleece squares & use alligator clips to secure them to the outside.

Just another simple dollar store toy/hut, but they love it!

But you know, they do actually sell pup tents now for the critters!!! They are all over Etsy:

You can also search for cat tents. There is even a "Simplicity" pattern at Joanns to make them yourself, but I'm too afraid to attempt them myself. :laugh4: Lord knows how quickly the rats will demolish those.

Althea & Weaver surprised me with new goodies... so I redid Minx & Bosco's upper level for a new Halloween treat!!! :dance:

That treat pouch was great! I sat watching tv for 2 hours while they tried to open it, only to finally go to bed & wake up to it empty. Rats... :laugh4:

Kind of bland... but this weeks set-up... dino's!
Just took photo's of the top section, haven't done the bottom yet.
(Yes, Polo is a little fluffed up in the one photo. He gets a little hormonal/territorial in freshly cleaned cages for the first few minutes.
Hence why Marco is keeping "safe" in the tunnel)
