the boyz (and girlz) and I are still overwhelmed by our SS gifts. I did end up opening everything, the boys were just too slow for me (or I was just too curious, or a bit of both :giggle: )

so many awesome treats and toys, and lovely things for me too! I'll get the photos up soon.
here's one of Rocko with this cool bird's nest toy with colored shredded paper in it- He had a ball pulling the paper out and then proceeded to totally dismantle the ball  this isn't something I would have thought to get my boyz, not having any clue what they might do with it, but it turns out they love it.

ETA: :emb: helps if I add the link to the photo eh? :giggle:

thanks so much dspch911 you picked out a bunch of really awesome toys that will keep these boyz busy for a long time to come.

I squealed with delight when I saw the Waffle blocks house, I've wanted to get my guys that! and the space pod thing, I keep calling it a space ship :giggle:
and TWO bags of those baby teething rings, I can't find those anywhere and I know they're gonna love those dangling in the cage. and SO much more.

for now, here's a little taste of the fun we've been having
here's a couple of short videos of the boyz with their toys

Tonight we played mostly with the wrapping paper and tissue paper and the big box :giggle:
They were pulling the paper into the cage to make a nest with. I decided to slow down giving them new toys because last night they were so tired and overwhelmed they didn't want to come out to play, they were too sleepy!

I think part of there tiredness is because they *just* starting living together, which is going wonderfully well!! :joy: but is still a big change for them all, and change can make you tired.

They are just so funny when they carry that apple treat around. I have realized my boys love to build nests with paper too.. they stuff everything with it......

I love seeing everyones gifts! This is awesome! I am ready for next year already! I think this should be done twice annually..

Notice the little knit things at the base of the tree. Those are pouches filled with treats, that the boys have to gnaw through to get at. Dweezil is in heaven. Except for the pasta. He's just not that motivated to work for pasta, unless it involves climbing kitchen cupboards, of course.

Thank you, clmntine!

How very sweet!!!!

I just picked up my package from the postal outlet, and I could hardly wait to get home and open it! The box was nice and light, which always means good things for ratties.

I opened it...

Lovely card and intriguing little packages. I started opening them and-- YES!!! -- beautiful Christmas hammocks!

And there was more: a little Christmas tree for the girls to chew to smithereens.

And lovely guest towels for me, and a cozy red blanket & organic corn puffs for the girls.

Just a heavenly package:

Thank you so much Secret Santa!! (But I quickly figured out that it was
Crumbilina.)

Many thanks from me and the girls, especially little Jenny!
