She has a bit of a tummy but it could just be due to eating a good diet
- both rats have been putting on weight.
She is too small for a spay and would be at least 2 weeks along if pregnant.
She is nesting but that is typical behaviour for some girls ....
I too am concerned that she get onto antibiotics that will nail her ear infection asap.
The vet told me to keep her on just the clavamox and the metacam for now.
Hoping she is ok and not pregnant and that meds will soon be added that clear up the head tilt.

To small for a spay accourding to your vet? I often wonder why some vets say that and then will do a spay on a mouse.....

Vet visit again today.
The clavamox and metacam seem to be helping as the baby girl's head tilt isn't any worse and may have improved a bit.
My vet thinks there is little risk to her by keeping her on only these meds for now.
The baby girl had an ultra sound today.
Good news! - the lumps are not tumours
It was very interesting .... the first time I have seen an ultra sound ...... I saw a baby!
No spay - my decision.

So ... we are having babies!
They will be here Sunday or Monday ... if not before
(so much for it being 5 1/2 weeks since she has been around a boy ...)
Anyway, anyone want to guess the number? I'll try to take a tummy shot tomorrow.
... I'm guessing 3 little eepers.

Anyone else want to guess how many babies this little baby girl is going to have?

What a shame she's preggers with all the other ones needing homes out there :(

Atleast it isn't tumors.

Babies are a gift and we will celebrate their lives

So .... How many babies do you guess?

After seeing photos, Im more apt to guess 7! 2 boys and 5 girls lol
Can't wait to watch these lovely bubs grow, babies are so innosent and precious.

She was noticeable larger last night then yesterday morning ...
and noticably larger this morning then she was last night ...

3 eepers is quickly becomming a more and more unrealistic guess
so keep those guesses coming and I'll see if she is willing to pose for another picture

A friend picked her up for me on Sunday afternoon, February 6.
So I know that she has not been near a boy for 19 days.
So .... expecting babies by Monday at the latest.
