I've seen that sort of situation too often

Some people really shouldn't have animals at all :evil:
Most of the times in pet stores,they keep both genders in the same cage.
And then they wonder why people keep coming back with female rats,wich are pregnant :roll:

This baby had to be a mama so young because her previous owner apparently didn't realize that baby girls could get pregnant. The lady also said that she won't stay in a cage, and constantly tries to escape.
:huh: Huh? I have had not a bit of trouble with her. I've had the cage door open while taking pics of her and the babies, and she just peeks out at me. She's a very sweet girl. She just didn't like her old home! S'ok.... she will now be properly spoiled like a rattie should!

Sure there are a hell of a lot of heartbreaking stories of ratties, but just think about how many we've made happy between all of us over the years... ack it much be 100s!!! and one more thanks to kristy!! Smiles all round... sigh I love what we do for our pets... mine have better lives than me, and I'm proud of it
