Just got off the phone and the appointment has been made for the 3rd @ 2:00.
I'll be going in with him, as usual... and it's a bit of a relief to know that he will be taken care of by my veterinarian of preference this time.
When Polo was taken in, this particular vet was away on vacation, and being an emergency then it had to be done. The vet was still great with Polo,
but still, it's always nice to have the one you are familiar with the most work with them.

Watching Ratatouille tonight with the old man. I was absolutely exaughsted at work today thinking about whats ahead, but he looks to be going downhill even more within the past few days. I had a panicked phone call from my sister last night (she was visiting while I wasn't there) because she thought he was going to go on his own.
