:bliss: So happy that he is safe! He was so lucky to have been with a benevolent (i.e., not hungry) snake, and then to have had so many people willing to get him. Looking forward to photos.

What a relief!!!!!!! Can't wait for pics!!!

What a relief and what a lucky, lucky rat! The previous owner though? As if feeding live wasn't bad enough, they left the ratty in there for two weeks!? He could have easily started munching on the snake when the owner wasn't around-- I've seen some nasty pictures of the damage rats can do to snakes.

Everything turned out okay for both parties in the end though! :joy:

I don't normally read these since there is nothing I can do being in the states, but I saw your sign on and that's great your Peanut is this tiny rattie - you did a wonderful thing and I hope your Peanut has a wonderful rattie life... :joy:

After surviving 2 wks in a cage with a snake I think I'd have named him 'Snakecharmer' or 'Sapera' http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sapera rather than a food name! lol
Maybe you ought to hit the dollar store and get him a plastic snake to either cuddle with or chew up, depending on his choice.
Peanut is a lucky boy, I'm so happy for him! and so loving you!
