That is a horse dewormer - never heard of anyone giving it to rats for anything.
Ratguide.com - a vet approved medical site for rat owners does not seem to know anything about it
Perhaps you purchased the wrong thing.
Please do not treat your rat with it except under the direction of a vet.
If it is used to treat rats, then Lilspaz68 will know about it

Kitten revolution is the recommended treatment for rats with mites
although some people do treat with ivermectin

Please see: http://ratguide.com/health/integumentary_skin/ectoparasites.php

It was recommended yo me by the pet shop owner and its supposed to be a quivker soluyion than ivermectin but where can i buy revolution?

You will need to get kitten revolution from a vet. The amount applied to the back of the neck is based on the weight of the rat and the strength of the med. (see link I provided above). You only need to treat once and it is good for 30 days.
Never use any meds from a pet store on a rat, as they may injure or kill

If you are in Canada or the US you can order Revo online if you cannot find it elsewhere. moxidectin is very similar to Ivernectin and no faster. I don't know the oral dosing for it but do know Ivernectin has to be dosed extremely carefully as you can OD your rat. Revo is so safe, effective and 1 drop for each rat just once is the full treatment. Ivermectin is 3 times once a week with full cage cleanings in vetween
