Just wondering something, for those who have been there. Are you able to pull the car right up to where you buy them or are you having to walk a fair distance to your car?

There is no parking directly infront of the "store" from what I saw, but there is a parking lot on the opposite side of the street, except if you come during the day expect most parking spaces to be taken up by students.

I believe there is metered parking on the opposite side of the street, and I believe a few more parking spots around the corner of the building, so there would be some walking involved. Its not like a convience store where you can park a sidewalks width away from the door. Actually its not really a store at all ... more of a hallway of an office building where your order is waiting for you on the floor (which is why you have to preorder).

Also, that side of the campus is seeing quite a bit of construction so it doesnt help the parking situation at all. You might be able to get away with pulling up against the curb for a few minutes, but if possible I'd suggest bringing a friend who could idle with the car if you got a large order.

I heard back :)
They will mail it out
Waiting to hear back with details for ordering.

Edit: doesn't look like they will mail it out after all ....
The man I spoke with today is going to speak to his boss again but didn't sound too hopeful :( But he was really wonderful, he even contacted the company to see if anyone in the maritime provinces was purchasing Harlan from them so I could check somewhere closer to home for Harlan. Unfortunately no one is. :(

The website is listed on the very first page of this thread along with prices. You have to email or call them to place your order, probably want to request the shipping thing at that time as well if needed.

oh btw ... apparently the email link on that page is being sent to the wrong person (phone number is correct).

Panos' (the guy who actually takes the order) email is [email protected]. The current email links to the Manager who was wondering why she was being inundated with feed requests :p She put in a request to have the page updated, but doesn't seem to have gone through yet.

Bron, can you write me up exactly how to get to it from the 401? If it's too much trouble, I'll try and mapquest it.

Ahhh! I'm sorry, Jo. :( I completely forgot about this thread after I posted my last message. I'm glad you were helped out. :)

Hey guys,

I think this info was already provided BUT just in case...

I went to the CAF today for my volunteer orientation and tried to buy food on my way out. Unfortunately you have to fill out a form, submit it, and give them at least 24 hours to process the order. So it's not like a store where you just walk in and pick up whatever when you feel like it.

Also, the laminated forms guiding you to what to put on your form only has "Rodent Teklad" and the two sizes, NOT the code. So in order to specify 2014 you need to call the number provided at the beginning of this thread or order through email.

Sorry if this is repetitious!

Wait a second, they sell more then just the 2014 formula?

I thought they sold two types but I just opened up an email saying they don't, only the 2014. The woman at teh front desk telling me how to order wasn't sure. Crisis averted. ;)

I'm going to be in Guelph on December 4th and thought that while I was there, I might as well pick up some HT. Unfortunately, the reason I'll be in town is because one of my dogs has been referred to a veterinary dental specialist for some dentistry. I'm going to pick up two 33 lb. bags for myself and anticipate that I'll have room for about eight more 33 lb. bags (10 in total) if I lay them across the back bench of my van. I'd have room for a heck of a lot more, but my boy's comfort will be my priority and I don't want to have to stuff him in the back of the van after his surgery amidst a pile of feed bags.

If anyone would like me to pick up some HT for them, it would be my pleasure. But before you say yes, please be aware that I'm not offering to deliver it to you, you will have to agree to pick it up from my home in Maple in the area of Keele and Major Mackenzie. As I mentioned, my boy will be post-op following a nasty dental (we're anticipating quite a few extractions) and all I'll want to do is get him home as soon as possible. I have a nice dry cold cellar I can store the extra bags in and you can pick them up at your convenience.

First come first serve. Please PM me if you want in.
