I can not even imagine how you do it....intros are not my favourite thing at all....and I have only had one bad one....evil older baby boy to another younger baby boy. LOL

These guys are still a bit temperamental, and finley is just like them. The babies are sweet hyper and playful. The initial intro went well but I think that the move in would be difficult and I am not in the mood for that right now. I am still not 100% that finley will fit in well after that stunt he pulled so I figured I should make sure he fits then I will decided when I get my add on what boys can go with what group. But none of these guy did well in the large group so that Is why I am thinking maybe they don't like big groups.

I hate intros when I try to pair the wrong rats. I have been extremely lucky with my last set of intros. I think i have done around 15-20 intros since i owned rats. I hated them after Templeton but since none of mine have been that horrible since I am getting kinda used to them. It is like a task i have to do so I dont mind it LOL Getting them into the right groups though is a happy moment. especially when you see one not living with anyone.
 
I did a brief floor one yesterday, I could tell with the excited smells, it would not end well. I was exhausted yesterday from work so I just skipped anything else. Today we went back to the table.

Same thing but they sniff him now at least so that is progress.

We were out there for a long time and this is all they did LOL they walked around very little.

I maybe try a floor one again in a few days but for now since i know these boys can be mean I want to go slow.

LOL you have a strange obsession with rex boys I am thinking :)

It is going to be a long road with these boys... I am terrified of move in and neutral ground LOL they may live on the table for life.
 
I have a cage rubber showing up :( fabian or cupid the agouti boy. I didn't look at which one but I seen them doing it after I cleaned the cage....... sigh..
 
he is the same one that chases him, sniffing with his little head up. I know that leads to bad things LOL been there done that. I was watching him and I couldnt help but think "awe templeton jumped in his body, he wasnt ready to go just yet" LMAO

I may try Finley with the babies now, i have the group of young boys so :) all it not lost yet lmao
 
and as soon as we try neutral ground, he starts to chase him, so I know it will get bitey soon.
 
He is out on the floor with the other guys, no drama so far. Watching to see how it goes, Since the new guys are not used to the floor it is scary for them and finley is being ok so far. So Finley might have hope for a group soon.
 
toby was the only good alpha i had here, templteon was awesome with girls only lol but boys we know how that went, I am hoping some of these other guys step up and are ok.

Hopefully he can go with these guys in a Double FN soon, right now he has the whole part to himself. I want him with someone asap.
 
They spent hours in the pen area. I took the doors off the cage and shut it off to the outside world, they are now running in and out, finley is napping in the corner of the cage :) No doors for them for a while but it looks good so far. I did take the hammocks away :)
