Hamsters are evill. They attack me

Still she didn't deserve to be killed like that
We are anxious now, only a few days more. I've got a little girl of 4 months, very obvious pregnant, as owner don't have time to socialise 100's of babies she has send two others to another place to give birth.

The girl I've got is the first to give birth, mum 4 months old, much to small to be a mum (in my oppinion, I know some think 4 months are fine), 11 babies, 4 with red eyes (will be easy to find new home for red-eyed + I don't like red eyes  ), mum is doing SO fine, taking care of them, just not sure if she's finished or more are on their way. But I'm happy and thankfull that 'my' birth was so easy  Don't want to disturb the new family, but pics will come!

good news !!
Glad mom and babies are doing well.
Congrats!! :)

So very, very sorry about the poor little hamster ...
Hope the hamsters are now in another room.
Hope she gets a better cage for the rattie girls or else considers them free range and rat proofs the room they are in.

I've taken care of hamster-proofing the girl-rats, didn't have the patience to wait for guidence to enter someonce awareness - no more hamster-killings will happen!

2nd litter being born just now, another too young mum, but everything is under controle - I guess tonight is Baby-night  (have decided to laugh and not cry)

Oh no, 21 months old girl has just had 1 giant baby, suspect one more is still inside, she's been given something to provoce contractions and baytrill against infection, I'm worried (no c-section for rats around here :( )

My heart is with all of you!
I've just had a litter as well so they are all growing up together

I only have one, owner have three (the old one, another one + a planned litter from before disaster) and another friend has two - we want the babies to be well socialised and for me one litter is more than enough work (but nice work :D ). Old mum only got that giant baby and seems fine and happy, hope this was the end to the disaster!
