So I go for my bone scan on Friday. I won't lie I'm pretty nervous about what they're gonna find was having a mini anxiety attack this morning when the doc called. If they remove the tibia they'll put in a rod and then most likely do radiation too. Not something I'm lookin forward to.

Well I haven't been around for a while. I finally started a new job which has been keeping me busy. Romero also passed away 3 weeks ago :( I'm still having a hard time with that and putting all my energy in work and working out. The rescue is still going but slowly. We're on hold right now till...

We still have a lot of female adult ratties and two female baby ratties looking for homes.

Life has been kinda bla. I haven't gotten any new pics of the babies. They're pretty busy and hard to get pictures of. Some good news at least. The boys are going for a neuter (thanks Velma!) this friday and they and two of their sisters will be adopted together! So that just leaves two...

lol looks like they had fun. We used to put coin rollers in a paperbag and let them route around. They always had a blast with that.

Rocky was really happy to be back with her sisters. She was also happy to have her wheel back lol Amazing how they can go through a big injury like that and then still want to go run on their wheel.

Ok that's what I was thinking too. I think I'll take her over to the foster home later today when she gets done work.

Thanks Jo for the donation! Rocky is doing pretty great. What are your opinions on putting her back in with her sisters this weekend? Should I wait another week?

Thanks so much Joanne. Rocky is doing really well and was even interested in coming out to see me for a bit. She's leaving her tail alone thankfully! It's looking pretty good and no signs of infection which is great.

Rocky is back at my place resting. She's doing really well. Dr. Rose and the staff at Moutain Road Animal Hospital are amazing. I brought them some cookies as a thanks for taking her in so quick.

I guess her daughter had her out showing her friends and then Rocky got in the couch. I think she degloved it when they were trying to get her out :( I dropped her off this morning. She's a trooper that's for sure.

I haven't been around for a while. Things have just been one after the other. Turns out Fival is a girl not a boy. Not sure how we missed that but she tricked us all. Granger took a turn for the worse suddenly. He wasn't feeling good a couple days ago and seemed to be stuffy all of a sudden...

One of our foster mom's texted me today to let me know that Rocky degloved half of her tail. It is quite bad. I gave her some metacam and she's going in to see Dr Rose in the am. We are asking for donations to help cover the amputation. Paypal donations can be sent to...

MRRG is closed to surrenders for the time being. We are over full and adoptions are going extremely slow. We also lost our QT home and need another one before we can take in any more surrenders even when we do have an open foster home.

I wish we had the room we'd take him but we are over full :( Having so many emails lately for surrenders too. Sucks.

I hope so. We're quite over full right now. We won't be taking in any more till we get some adoptions going. Plus we need a new QT home as the lady that was ours moved to Alberta. :emb:

Kinda cool. A lady from Here (a local paper) contacted me to do an interview for MRRG. The article was really well done. I made a collage of it. Hopefully this will get some attention and some ratties will get adopted!
