Life has been so busy, but things are starting to slow down finally!
I do still have two of my standard boys born in early 2019, Atticus and Kevin. They are both very old men now. It goes by so fast!
However, I did adopt six baby dwarf boys in April of this year. They do live separately from my two standard boys, they are very little guys and average only about 190 grams each! They are also my very first dwarf rats and are absolutely the most adorable little kiddos I have ever seen! We did have some issues with some hormonal aggression in a few of the dwarf boys (not towards us, but each other and it started to escalate) but I found an amazing vet that neutered all six boys for me and that fixed all the problems wonderfully! They are now an adorable little family of 6! I have never had neutered male rats before either and it has been so interesting to see how much that has changed their fur texture, it went back to baby soft fur!
Here are some pictures of my little dwarf rat pack! Hope everyone is doing well and some of the old members are still around!
Gravy
Poe
Atlas
Taco

... and when I first brought them home
My two standard boys are so old now and mostly just sleep these days, but here is a cute picture of my Kevin, in his hammock, looking a bit like an opossum.
