I know it is bird food, but do you see anything bad in this? I got the ideal from another forum. It would just be a snack.

I see nothing bad. It wouldnt be very fattening considering its only 4% fat. If it was just a snack or supplement then I dont see anything wrong with it. I have seen people feed this on another forum...goosemoose.

It's weird how similar bird requirements are to rats'. It does seem like a good food for them. That would be something I would add to their blocks to give them a variety.

It is weird isnt it. They are not similar in hardly any ways and yet when you look at there foods, they are very similar :S

Yeah that is the forum I got the idea from. The person who posted on goosemoose said that she doesn't feed the flavored variety to the males because it contains oranges and the added sugar makes the girls go crazy. Hyper girls go figure.

It's only the d-limonene in oranges particularly the rind and juice that can affect males and that's got to be in HUGE quantities.
