Zoe & her Happy Ending

Zoe is another rescue, that we got a few monthd ago. We started out as fostering her, but fell in love fast, and was unable to let her go with the issues she had.

She came to us with very bad teeth, which we got trimmed, but they grew back SO FAST. So we discussed with our vet that the best thing to do was to remove her gour incisors. Since the remova, she has had two abcsesses ..but now has been clear for a while - fingers crossed that it stays this way. She is a very happy girl, despite everything she has gone through.

& a BIG BIG BIG thank you to lilspaz for helping me with medications, and my millions of emails ..without her help ..I would have been lost with the abscesses. Thank you :heart:

She is very fortunate that the vet seems to have gotten all of the root bud and the teeth did not grow back,
possibly in the wrong direction (like up into her brain)

My vet has done a few teeth extractions on rats, so I put my trust in him
It's been 2 months since the surgery. It took two days to do removal, as it took too long to remove all 4 at once. They got 3 the first time and the last one the second time.

Her teeth were so bad, that trimming only lasted 4 days ..at 7 months old.. Trimmings every 4 days would be brutal for the rest of her life ..poor boo ..all fixed now
