I have a rat who is about 2 or 3 months old. She has always been super clumsy and is always falling off of things. Lately she has still been active, but refuses to touch any food. It's been like 3 days and she has BARELY eaten but still drinks and acts normal. What might be wrong? What should I do?

What are you feeding her? Have you tried baby cereal or Ensure? Baby cereal, pasta, coconut milk, soy milk, try anything... Does she have any other signs of illness? How's her breathing? Does she live with other rats? How are they? Do you have a video of her you can post?

Sounds like an ear infection or myco that has gotten into the ear/sinuses and affected balance and appetite. Is she on any medication? Try to use a small plastic syringe to squeeze tiny bits of liquid food into her mouth; baby food, pablum with soy milk, ensure, etc. If she's drinking, good, that will keep her hydrated. Has she been to a vet? How does her fur look (silky, or standing up on end)? How do her eyes look? Bowels and urine normal? Let us know how she does.

You can also try turning lab blocks into mush by soaking them in cold water.
Then put a bit in a dish.
You can mix a tiny bit of olive oil into it to make it even more appealing to her.
Hopefully pop o her will be able to help once you post more info.

hope she is soon feeling better.
