The young mama (Nasa?) and two of her daughters arrived yesterday evening from Jeff via thefriggintribe.
They are looking for a permanent home together.
All three are small for their ages and very healthy and active.
After their long trip they enjoyed running, climbing and exploring the martins cage I borrowed from Godmother.
Here is their story: viewtopic.php?f=56&t=24910
I took a few pictures last night. They were so active it was difficult to take pictures.
the mama (Nasa?) being weighed. She is at least 16 weeks old and weighs 205 g.
the first baby, Tell (Stella), being weighed (80g)
the second baby, Triva, being weighed (73g)
the babies are 8 weeks old today!
exploring
trying out the wheel
checking out the baby cereal
the mama on the ramp (martins cages have very small bar spacing so they are safe for little feet)
a determined little mama, she soon rearranged the cage so it was more to her liking LOL
so far she is wary of me but no bites or nibbles,
and all three ratties were brave enough to explore my hand and arm.
