You should not breed rats because there are so many less fortunate rats without homes and deserve to be loved by a good person.

You shouldn't breed your rat unless you are ACTUALLY trying to better the overall rat, not just churn out pretty babies for adopters or your own feelings of self-worth.

I agree with this 100%, im not against breeding 100% as long as your caring for the rats and getting them to good owners and not doing it to make a quick buck, but i also understand what you guys mean with rescue's so im kind of stuck on how i feel

Because rescues like myself have tons of babies that need homes.
