Both the hubby and I noticed that Sophie was looking oddly ... pudgey last night. And unlike my fat boys, that pudge isn't squishy. Its strangely firm. And she's behaving slightly off. Despite her being spayed last April, and reassurances that spays aren't usually f'ed up, I'm starting to get worried again.

Here's the time-line:

February 12th: First intros between Sophie and baby boys

Week of February 19th: Fawn hoodie baby boy and Sophie had sex ... a lot

February 21st: Borrowed a scale from work - Sophie weighed 473 grams

March 8th: Noticeable bulging around Sophie's tummy. Bought a scale, and Sophie weighed about 483 grams - she just wouldn't sit still!

And here's the pics I took last night. Am I right to be worried?

Spayed females often gain weight, as their body no longer has to support a reproductive system (so they need fewer calories).

Also, that is not a lot of weight gain over two weeks.

I've had a few spayed females let the boys have their fun with them too. Your little girl is so cute but I don't think she's pregnant.

You should have seen Momma Leila after her spay.
She turned into a food hoarding pork pie.
Honestly, No neck all roll.
Now her daughters use her as a soft squishy mattress.
