I have decided to fill in the application form for the animal college, to study a diploma in animal care.

The application form asks THE hardest question in the world: Career Ambitions. Please state your future career ambitions

I find the question in the case of working with animals to be a very overwhelming question (im sure a lot of you will understand). There is a lot i would love to do, but i don't really want to list every possible career choice lol.
A few have been ruled out, like i have no real interest in becoming a veterinary surgeon, and i'm not a big fan of horses. I like the idea of conservation, rehabilitation and welfare. I could NOT be a welfare officer though.

I am asking you all the same question, because i need some input and you might shed some light on something amazing that i am just not thinking of.

If you had to chose a career (or even have a current career) working with animals, what would you chose? what would be your dream job, and what would you really not like to do? (remember, each to their own)

For real, I would love to be a zoo keeper and get to work specificially in a certain pavillion. Thats waht I was originally going to do but I needed to go into zoology to do that and I suck in science!
My only issue with a zookeeper is most deal with snakes and I just can't handle being around snakes.
Good luck with your application!

man are you ever lucky!
I couldn't afford to go to school, and my parents couldn't afford for both my bro and I to go, so neither of us got to go :(
IF I could afford it now, i'd go back when Cole starts school, but i'm affraid we're not in a position to do so at the moment...

Zoo's would be FUN! Habitat Specialist sounds COOL! I think i'd be good at that for SURE!
:cheeky:

There is a private lab in Scotland that has been collecting, and storing, the DNA of every single animal species on the planet. I guess that they are trying to curb extinction.
Although I am not a fan of cloning at all, which is probably going to have to be the end result at some point to preserve species, I would like to be an animal DNA specialist. I would like to work in a place like that.
