Wood pellet content

Would a wood pellet with the following make up be OK for the litterbox?

" a softwood pellet made primarily from spruce sawdust and shavings sourced locally; there would be very little (trace amounts) of pine 1% or less and no cedar used in making our pellets."

the one I get is 100% oak so I don't know about the one you just posted about

Spruce has the same phenols as pine so an all spruce pellet would not be okay.

why don't you get the beddings that most ppl get on here?
carefresh, aspen, fleece or the oak wood pellets?

I've called 4 stores in my area and they all carry the same brand, and it was the one listed earlier. I haven't found a wood pellet that is made from oak here. If I can't find it, I'll use the YN, but the wood pellets sounded like a good idea.

All softwood is unhealthy for small animals.
Hardwood is ok
