Not a good idea to give anything containing dairy (calcium) within two hours of the meds. Otherwise, it should be ok.

ok im asking because he does not eat anything else. what can i give him other then those two things? that's mushy and good? he will not eat the mushed up blocks nether we tried.

i was looking ensure does not have milk directly but has milk protein concentrate.

i also was reading what Shel is giving Iris its cat food right? what kind was it?

you could probably give the baby cereal made with water, instead of ensure/ formula...

yeah he eats a bit of those things too its just the ensure gives all his vitamins and things he needs to stay alive and well hes a pretty sick guy but still very much kicking. i just want to be sure he gets what he needs while on the meds and such.

ive been doing the each two hour thing anyways like Holly said, i give him his meds then two hours later he gets his ensure and what not still works out ok. but he does get other things that he will eat like bananas and baby food with water, apples and such
