What color is this?

Sorry for the bad picture. It's a berkshire, palest silver/dove on top, white underneath, and Siamese shading on the nose.

It looks like a pearl to me. We have so much mink/pearl merle in Ontario now that you run into these pearls sometimes.

I agree about the pearl. As far as the darker muzzle, it looks like a very minor coloration difference, which can happen on any color rat. He's very cute.

Thankyou, he's very sweet too. He will be at the SPCA very soon. Deputy Joe rescued him and his topaz brother from a bad spot, but can't keep them more than a few days though he'd love to. I have a pearl as well, and they are completely a different shade when compared together. he probably carries RED too, which lightens the coat.

Yeah, shades of colors can vary wildly.

Oh I think my Kanunu is a pearl. I was calling him a mink but Pearl is so perfect.
