We have names, not adoptable anymore!

I don't have any rats available for adoption anymore.

I've always made a point of not naming the rats that I have available for adoption - I think their families should name them.

That said, I have 6 rats who I was not able to adopt this year, they've been with me for a long time, I love them and don't want to part with them.

My 3 new girls are Tosca, Carmen and Gloria. :heart:

My 3 new boys are Elvis, Oscar and Wyatt. :kisses:

I hope I get a new digital camera for Christmas so I can post pictures!!

GongRATulations! I have had many many rats come into my rescue this way too. The unadoptables become part of the family and loved so much.
I'm so happy to hear you have them and cant wait til you get a camera so you can take pictures of them!

It's so sweet now that they have their forever homes. I think it's a good idea in not naming them before finding them that home plus by naming them you get more attached.

Thanks guys. I realized it was time to name them when someone asked me about adopting a boy a few days ago. I though about my 3 young dumbos and realized it would just be too hard to give them up. I sent the lady to the Humane Society, which is just as well because a rat still gets rescued - right?
