Vitamin K and Iron For bleeding rats.

We sometimes find ourselves with a bleeding rat. Some rats can bleed out a lot specially if they have hurt an extremity or digit. Some rats bleed too much during surgery or even with a bladder infection. I've compiled a list of healthy food rich in vitamin K and iron.

Vitamin K

Kale (the top best overall of all veggies!)
Spinach
Mustard Greens
Beet Greens
Swiss Chard
Turnip Greens
Parsley
Broccoli
Brussel Sprouts

Iron

Soybeans
Lentils
Spinach
Sesame Seeds
Chickpeas

You can also give your rats oatmeal, it's loaded with iron and a sick rat might find cooked oatmeal with added kale a delicious meal easy to eat.

Rats can be silly. All mine love raw kale.
