Vibrating tail

Pax was sitting on the top of my couch and was vibrating his tail against it. He did this a couple of times. Only I'm sitting here with his brother.

Anyone know why he did this?

Excitement or nervousness is the usual reason. Was he sitting there all intense and the tail started quivering? He probably heard or smelt something.

Hmm, I think he may have been excited cuz I was playing with him... cute.

That's so funny when they do this. Radar does it a lot too, especially when I rev him up.

I'm glad it can mean something positive, lol, I worried my rats were always scared of something.

I know the feeling. I over anaylise the situation, are they happy, are they scared, if they are scared what is making them scared. Usually I come to the conclusion that they are doing it because they are happy.

I saw lots of tail vibrating when introing the girls.. mostly from the young ones.

That's my favorite thing that Binx does. I laugh every time! Sometimes I think she does it just to make me laugh, like when she runs up to me, swats her tail a few times and takes off. :clapping:
