Vet bed instead of Fleece.

Does anyone use vet bed for your rats?

I believe that Hopefloats uses something like that
I would like to but it would be too expensive for me to get it from the USA right now

Hopefloat did use it with her handicapped babies I think. I believe its a washable bedding that draws moisture away from the top keeping if away from the ratties that aren't very mobile.

I use something similar ...those expensive bathmats, that are a cross between carpet and memory foam. I use it as a cage liner, as it absorbs odors also, and the rats dont chew it.

Canarats, I use those same bath mats. I also put a standard pillow case over the shelf/mat. They work very well.
