Not sure what to do with the rat lab block powder at the bottom of the bag? I mixed some with ensure tonight for the ratties, but still had quite a bit.

So making some lab block cookies!
1 cup lab block powder
1 4 oz container of baby food (I'm using strawberry banana)

Mix those together, roll out to about 1/3", use smallest cookie cutter you have, or if you don't have any tiny ones you can use a pop bottle cap, or just cut into 1" squares. Place on baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes!

I freeze mine and make them lab block dust mush....with or with out any ensure...I usually just add hot water...and make a nice warm "mash" for them...they love it.

I put the dust (or solid blocks) into a bowl and add cool (filtered) water.
Let it sit for a few hours (in the fridge) and it will turn into mush
Rats like mush made from lab blocks & lab block dust.
It is particularily good for young rats, ill rats, and seniors who may find solid blocks more of a challege.
The mush is great for helping to keep rats well hydrated and so is a favorite esp in the summer months.
