Having found this website first I'm so used to seeing well educated people. And then I go onto my FB rat groups and they don't know anything about proper care. They buy from pet stores, breed, and leave single rats alone in small 1 level cages. And so many people don't know how to sex rats and so many accidental litters...
I did 3 weeks of intense research before even contacting the rescue I got my little ones from. Didn't realize how much this group and changed me and taught me until I go there. And then I just get frustrated... People trying to sex rats when they are like 3 days old!! [emoji36]

You can but it isn't easy, or necessary.

I share your frustrations... I had to leave several FB groups because I just couldn't take it anymore.
