Tonka’s bright spirit always shone from her eyes

and only a few days ago, I had Lilith, Clare (formerly Snake) and Tonka sleeping cuddled up in the box together. ALL of these girls are from different colonies.

Tonight I just walked around looking for rats to cuddle and hold while I was sad and realized that since Monkey (and Tonks) weren’t here tonight, I would have to “make do” with Fred and Marley. I guess I had better tell them they have some pretty awesomely big shoes to fill.

When through the light of life I see
A perfect rat mom, just for me :rose:

Her tender heart
Her loving soul
My silver lining
laced in Gold :love6:

When through my tribulations sought
The best of care which could be bought :rose:

A caring vet, with gentle hands
does everything to help me mend :love4:

And though the outside world may see
a burdened rat girl

I'm happy, judge not what you see

I shared my life, so pure and true
no rat mom lovelier than you :love6:

The joy of freedom in your home
The love and cuddles I was shown
A smorgasbord of yummy things

Rats in piles

My other issues
how they pale
discomfort flies

Perhaps it was a sight to see

Within my cloud, your picture shines

Blessed at the Rainbow Bridge, with toys...

My hammocks hang and bring me joy
