So I have gotten 5 new rats since Christma. Baby (the grayish hoodie), Cotton (the all white), Oreo (black hoodie), Gobblin (yes I spelled it like you are gobbling up food...he's the siamese Dumbo), and Fig ( the black one). They are a crazy group! Gobblin was all white when he came to me, and has recently started getting a gray nose, and now his ears are tinged gray. Baby has a head tilt from an ear infection at the beginning of the year. Oreo is a scaredy rat. Cotton is....well white. And Fig is....different. He makes this chewing motion with his mouth (different than bruxing) when he gets excited, which is most of the time. The girls are all extremely vocal. They wrestle constantly, and squeak so much. But they all sleep together in a pile, and nobody is scared of the others. I guess what I'm wondering, is if it's normal what Fig and the girls do? None of my other rats were as vocal, and none did what Fig does. He's done it since I got him, and he's been with me a little over 2.5 months.

A ton of pics I know, but they are so cute!

Thank you!! They are super spoiled. Just got them a new double critter nation today, so the boys will have their own two story cage, and so will the girls. I guess this means I now have room for more rats? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I just noticed Macaroni (3+years) has a white spot on her eye. I guess it's a cataract forming?

It may be hard to see, but it's the white spot below the light reflection in her eye.
