wondering if polypropylene twine is okay to use in the cage? It is holding up my roll of TP up for them to play with

I stay away from strings to dangerous. I use the shower rings to hold stuff up. The idea of any rope or string in the cages scare me.

Get some plastic chain. I'm not sure where the chain I have came from. Maybe from the baby section at the Dollar store? It has bigger loops, but still fits through the hole. If it's 'baby-approved', then it should be OK for rats too.
