Small lump

Hello, I lost one of my boys a few weeks ago to tumours and I've been checking around my current rat's neck for any lumps. I came across a tiny pimple like lump by his throat which is barely noticeable and not visible. He has a slightly bare patch under his chin I think from an abscess he had before, so I thought it might be an aftermath of that. Or it could be the start of tumour or abscess. Is this something I should be worried about?

I'll try later when he's awake but it really isn't visible. It's now quite big (like a small gumball) and it is round and hard. It moves under the skin so could it be a tumour?
