This morning we heard about a barn fire in Elmvale (15 min away from us). I got to work and found out it belonged to a friend of Mary's (my favourite coworker). And that her husband was missing. We waited all day. The news wasn't good, the fire marshall found foot tracks to the barn. No one is sure why he went into the barn without alerting anyone. It wasn't an animal barn it held old cars including a one of a kind.

I felt sick for Mary all day. Her son and their son have been friends since elementary school.

It's not fair ever, but especially around Christmas Time.
