Hey guys, sorry for bailing again recently, but after the sudden loss of Sheldon and the not-so-sudden loss of Leonard recently, I just couldn't really bring myself to come back immediately.
Sheldon passed away on September 23rd.
Leonard passed away on October 12th.
Sheldon's death was extremely unexpected seeing as he was just a year old, and seemed absolutely fine. Leonard on the other hand was old, and sick. He was being treated but didn't come through. Unfortunately, Sheldon was found dead, but Leonard we held with us in his final hours.
(He died at night, the rat vet was closed by then.)
I am taking a break from rats for a while. As much as I absolutely ADORE them, it simply makes no sense to rush out and get more at the moment.
I plan on getting everything ready in advance for them, and adopted a bonded pair, or something.
I will also try and make a real attempt at staying active here.
If anyone is in Connecticut, I still have quite a bit of food left, which you can have. If not, maybe I will bring it to the park or something. I dunno.
