Revolution for mites

We have a case of the mites. I have revolution. The vet said one or two drops. I did 2 drops on each rattie. When do I have to do it again. Also, it sure didnt look like much on them. Will another drop hurt, or should I just wait? thanks

2 Drops is more than enough, you don't need to add more. The mites will be gone very quickly. Make sure you give their cage and everything in it a thorough cleaning to kill the eggs and critters that would have dropped off of your ratties.

You can do a 2nd application after 30 days.

I concur... don't give anymore drops. Usually, only one dosing is needed.

thanks, I just cleaned everything with the 30:1 bleach solution. How will I know when they are gone? When the scabs are gone, Only one of our girls has then on her that I could SEE. But I treated them all.

Good you treated them all... mites really can't survive Revolution so I'd say they are pretty much gone in a week when the full cycle of the mite is done.
