Just to thank everyone who helped when I asked about poor Cookie and his seizer
Also...My friend took him to the vets today to find out that he had actually broken his back after a fall and had to be put down :cry3: ...
Again thanks for everyones help

That is so tragic. Rats are so nimble and usually so careful, we get used to them not having accidents like that. It can happen, though.
I'm sorry.

Cookie broke his BACK???????????? :tearful:

That's TERRIBLE!!! He must have either slipped or started off wrong on a jump! My Roquefort is skybound most of the time but he takes great care in setting himself up properly.

Oh God, poor Cookie. The kindest thing was to put him to sleep. The darling, little, nose.

I never would have thought that a rat could suffer such an injury. I compare them with cats who always seem to manage to land on their feet. I'm so sorry. I can imagine how painful this must be for you. Hang in there. You were wonderful with your boy. :rose:
