Rattie weights!

I decided it was about time I got current weights on all the rats:

Arden (~1 year 6 months): 623 grams
Nodin(~1 year): 469 grams (he's sick so he's a bit skinny right now)
Jack (~1 year): 524 grams
Reggie (7 months): 538 grams
Womble (7 months): 538 grams
Ratagain (1 year 3 months): 569 grams
Scabbers (1 year 3 months): 494 grams
Jezebel (~10 months): 266 grams
Leela (~9 months): 381 grams
Ancy (7 months): 286 grams
Java (7 months): 246 grams
Tosca (~2 years): 337 grams
Emma (~2 years): 333 grams

Funny thing is, Jezebel is the mom of Reggie, Womble, Ancy and Java and they are all from the same litter but look at the weight differences! While Reggie and Womble are 538 grams, their mom is only 266 grams! And their sisters are 286 and 246 grams! Wow, they're big boys! I think Jezebel is smaller because she had a litter at a young age, but I hope the sisters start growing soon!

do you find that with age rats gain? my boo is about 10 months and he isnt that large.

Yeah they can but I think it mainly depends on the rat. Most of my boys are pretty solid and naturally bigger so I think that has a lot to do with it.

Arden seems on the big side but the rest are a great weight. :thumbup:

Yeah, he is a bit of a chub-o but he's also naturally stocky. He still doesn't beat my first rat, Lineal, who was 710 grams!
