What is the best way to get a rat used to a harness?

Good luck with that one!
I would think that while young, you put one on just for play and make it a fun time with treats and keep doing that until the rat is old enough for a harness to fit snugly.

:giggle: I have one and tried that Jo......Rizzo was younger(smaller) and just kept walking out of it. Hum....I need to try again now that he is older and see what happens.

Well that would explain why my rats thought I was crazy wen I tried to get them into a ferret harness that I altered to b smaller :doh:
