Rats testicles changed color. Help!

My cricket will be 5 weeks old on Monday. He’s been very healthy, but I noticed today his testicles look bruised. I took a picture. What do I do?

this has happened to several of my rats as well in the past, and it seems to be related to age. i've noticed that testicles appear darker at times in certain spots the larger they become.

lol you're welcome!! if it becomes a bigger concern there's always the vet. when in doubt check it out

It's just skin pigmentation, don't worry. Develops in some dark coloured boys
